Jason Knight, M.D.

Jason Knight, M.D., is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care. Dr. Knight is Co-Director of the CHOC Transport Program and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Irvine.

A graduate of Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, Dr. Knight completed his residency training, including a year as Chief Resident, at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. His fellowship training in critical care medicine was completed at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and CHOC Children’s.

Dr. Knight has special interest in congenital heart disease, ARDS, pediatric transport and telemedicine. He regularly presents case conferences at Hoag Hospital, Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital, Corona Regional Medical Center and CHOC Children’s at Mission Hospital. Additionally, he has contributed chapters on hypertensive emergencies and foreign body aspiration to Pediatric Hospital Medicine: Textbook of Inpatient Management, 2007. Dr. Knight belongs to the American Academy of Pediatrics, Society of Transport Medicine and Society of Critical Care Medicine. He was selected as one of OC Metro’s ”Hot 25” honorees in 2009, and. recognized as a “Physician of Excellence” by the Orange County Medical Association in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

In his spare time, Dr. Knight enjoys surfing and golfing.
