Heart Institute Milestones
The CHOC Heart Institute is the only hospital in Orange County with a multidisciplinary cardiac care team of pediatric cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, cardiac intensivists, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and nurse practitioners.
We are the only facility in Orange County to perform neonatal and pediatric open-heart surgeries.
The Heart Institute houses Orange County’s only Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
