Opening A New Era
The new CHOC Children’s tower opens the future of the hospital and with it, the future of children’s healthcare in Orange County. The tower is the physical manifestation and keystone of our vision to offer the scope, breadth, and depth of services required to perform as a premier children’s hospital, fully serving and anticipating the needs of our marketplace.
After more than four decades of sharing services with an adult hospital, the tower puts CHOC in charge of its own destiny and takes the hospital into a new era. The facility will dramatically improve our ability to address all eight required ingredients to competitively recruit and retain the elite subspecialty pediatricians needed to make Orange County one of the medically safest and healthiest places for children in the country.
Most importantly, it will be a place where sick kids and their families find serenity, hope for healing, and people who understand their unique needs.
